About the Pharaonic Village
The village sits on Jacob Island in the Nile at Giza. It was founded in 1984 by Dr. Hassan Ragab, the Egyptian scholar who also revived the ancient craft of papyrus making. Visitors first tour it by boat along a canal lined with scenes of farming, fishing, papyrus making and pottery, then walk through rebuilt houses of a nobleman and a farmer, a temple, and a replica of the tomb of Tutankhamun as it looked when it was found.

- Pickup and drop-off at your hotel in Cairo by private air-conditioned car, with bottled water and snacks.
- Entry tickets are not included in the price.
- The visit works well for children, and the boat part is seated.
- The trip takes about 4 hours.
