Overview

A long journey along the Nile, from the pyramids of Giza to Abu Simbel, through the sites of Middle Egypt that most tours never reach.

This trip is made for groups of 12 to 16 people.

Day 1: The Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum
The Pyramids of Giza, then the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Day 2: Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur
The Step Pyramid of Djoser, the ruins of Memphis and the pyramids of Dahshur.
Day 3: Meidum and Minya
The pyramid of Meidum, then on to Minya for the night.
Day 4: Beni Hasan and Tell el-Amarna
The tombs of Beni Hasan and Akhenaten's city, then the night in the Abydos and Sohag area.
Day 5: Abydos and Dendera
The Temple of Seti I at Abydos and the Temple of Hathor at Dendera, then the night in Luxor.
Day 6: The West Bank of Luxor
The Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon and Medinet Habu.
Day 7: Karnak, Luxor Temple and Esna
Karnak and Luxor Temple, then to Esna for the first night on the dahabiya.
On the dahabiya: 5 days, 4 nights
Sailing up the Nile on a dahabiya to Aswan.
Abu Simbel and back to Cairo
Abu Simbel, then a flight back to Cairo.

Abu Simbel; the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae; then Kom Ombo and Edfu.

Day 1: Abu Simbel. Day 2: the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple.

Day 1: the East and West Banks of Luxor. Day 2: the temples of Dendera and Abydos.
